A five-year-old boy has just weeks to live after doctors allegedly repeatedly dismissed his aggressive cancer as constipation.
Little Michael Signwaza is now set to receive palliative care at home after medics told his devastated parents he had Stage 4 cancer.
The youngster first fell ill in July last year – but his mum and dad didn’t think it was “anything serious”, so treated him at home.
But after his condition failed to improve within a month, the couple took him to the GP, who allegedly diagnosed him with constipation.
As his condition became increasingly painful, Michael made several visits to the doctor, as well as to Bristol Children’s Hospital’s Emergency Department.
But his family claim they were repeatedly told the little boy was suffering from severe constipation and he should continue taking laxatives.
